How can business leaders, HR practitioners and employees bring people together to drive innovation? That’s the focus for our next Strathclyde Business School and Scottish Enterprise Workplace Innovation Masterclass, which will take place in Edinburgh on the morning of Thursday 15 February 2018.

Over the course of our Workplace Innovation Masterclass series, we have encountered many business leaders who are committed to creating spaces for people to innovate and share ideas in their organisations. But the challenge is often to facilitate effective collaboration across boundaries. These boundaries, and barriers to workplace innovation, can be geographical (especially in dispersed or multinational enterprises), spatial, or simply rooted in strict lines of demarcation separating people’s roles or teams.

How can we create organisational and virtual spaces for people to collaborate and innovate across teams and roles? How can we break through boundaries to build teams that innovate and share knowledge? This Workplace Innovation Masterclass will bring together speakers from leading businesses that have succeeded in bringing their people together to support workplace innovation. We will also hear about the latest cutting edge research on ‘what works’ in managing collaboration and innovation in the workplace.
